This software provides single- desktop connectivity to CICS applications from various client environments. Client applications can be written in Java™, C, C++, COM, COBOL, or the .NET Framework and communicate with this tool, using either the local T/IP stack or interprocess communication.

It does not include Java Connector Architecture (JCA) resource adapter , and some parameters have restrictions. For more information about the parameter restrictions, such as Maximum requests, the number of worker threads, The number of connection manager threads, and IPIC send sessions.
